LEADERSHIP WITH PURPOSE
PCC UNITED GOVERNANCE
Our Board
Our Board of Directors provides strategic leadership and governance for PCC United, bringing together diverse experience, perspectives and expertise from across countries and communities.
Board Members share a commitment to advancing meaningful patient and community involvement in research, healthcare, policy and society. They are expected to uphold PCC United’s values, act with integrity and independence, and place the organisation’s public-benefit purpose at the heart of their decision-making.
The Board is collectively responsible for the strategic direction, governance, financial oversight and long-term sustainability of PCC United. Individual Board Members may hold specific portfolios or areas of responsibility, while governance decisions remain a shared responsibility of the Board.
Accountability and transparency are central to our governance. The Board works in dialogue with the wider PCC United community and seeks to ensure that patient and community perspectives remain meaningfully represented in our work and decision-making. We recognise that many of our Board Members bring lived experience as patients, carers or community representatives alongside their professional and personal commitments. Our governance approach therefore aims to be inclusive, flexible and respectful of different circumstances, while maintaining clear responsibilities and high standards of governance.
Board Members serve voluntarily and without remuneration for their Board duties, although reasonable expenses may be reimbursed in accordance with PCC United’s policies. To learn more about our governance or to contact the Board, please use the contact form at the bottom of this page.
